During the first week of April, 2003, I had to make a brief trip to Singapore on business, but since Keo had never been to the beautiful city state of Singapore, I thought it would be a great opportunity to take him along since he was out of school at that time as well.  Even though we were a little worried about the SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) epidemic that had recently hit Asia (and particularly Singapore), we decided that we would go anyway and exercise caution.  Turns out everything was fine, and we had a very nice trip.  We did a bit of walking around and sight-seeing, as well as taking a trip on the Sky Bucket gondola which provides some great views of the island and surrounding areas.  Here are a few pictures that we took on that trip.  I hope you enjoy!

Keo & Downtown Singapore Skyline

Same shot, just "o'le Dad" in the picture, too!

Not sure what this was, but it made for a nice backdrop!

"I wouldn't want to fall on top of that theater...that would hurt!"

One of the famous symbols of Singapore

The gondola provided some great views!

This cruise ship just happened to be in port while we were in town, and another great view from the sky bucket!
