Well, as mentioned on my homepage, I relocated to Hong Kong in November of 2004. Since many of my friends and relatives have been asking for photos of my new flat, I thought I'd post them here for all to enjoy. It's a small place (typical for Hong Kong), but in a brand new complex with great facilities and one heck of a view!
This is the living/dining room, facing towards the balcony.

This shot taken standing in front of the sofa, facing the dining room table. The door in the distance on the left goes to the kitchen. The door on the right is the entry door.
And here's the small, but well-equipped kitchen. There's also a small utility room off to the right which houses the washer/dryer as well.
This is really the 2nd bedroom, but it's far too small to actually be a bedroom by my standards, so I'm just using it as my office. It works perfect for that, and I LOVE my antique teak desk!
Here's my bed/bedroom, complete with Snuffles the polar bear!
This is a view across the bed. The door on the left leads to the master bathroom, and the door on the right leads to the living/dining room. The teak wardrobe is my prize possession in this room!
And here's the master bathroom. There's a 2nd bathroom across from the 2nd bedroom (office) which has a standalone full-size shower as well.
And here are a couple of views of the South China Sea from my balcony. There are always plenty of cargo ships and smaller vessels to watch go by. Very very relaxing... |
